- Subscription Information: If you purchase a subscription, we collect payment information through Apple's App Store, which is processed securely by Apple. We do not store your payment details.
Information Automatically Collected
- Photo Library Access: The App requires access to your photo library to identify duplicate and similar photos. All photo analysis is performed entirely on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store any of your photos or personal data.
- Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage analytics (such as which features are used, screens viewed, app open events, and summary counts and sizes of cleanups, for example "3 duplicate photos removed") to improve the App. This data is not linked to your identity and never includes your photos or their contents.
- Purchase Information: When you start a trial or purchase a plan, we record which plan and price were chosen. We never receive your payment details; those stay with Apple.
- Diagnostics: We collect performance timings and error messages so we can find and fix problems.
- Anonymous Identifier: Our analytics provider assigns a random identifier to your installation of the App. It is not linked to your name, Apple ID, or any account, and is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Third-Party Services
- PostHog: We use PostHog for anonymous product analytics. PostHog processes the usage data described above on our behalf, as described in their privacy policy: https://posthog.com/privacy
- Apple App Store: Subscription purchases are processed through Apple's App Store, subject to Apple's privacy policy.

Data Storage and Security
Critical Privacy Feature: All photo analysis, duplicate detection, and similar photo identification happens 100% locally on your device. Your photos never leave your device and are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party services.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

Cleanup Wizard is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
